(VOVworld) - A new humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations is traveling towards Donbass in eastern Ukraine.

The 36th humanitarian convoy of more than 100 trucks is carrying more than 1,000 tons of relief, including food, medicines and items of first necessity to the eastern Ukrainian Donetsk and Luhansk regions. At the state border it will split into two equal parts, one of which will head to the Donetsk region, and another one - to the Luhansk region. The convoy is self-sustainable, having medics as well as technical personnel, who can repair vehicles if necessary.
