A South Korean military official said the test launch took place at around 5:20am local time. Earlier, South Korea’s Ministry of Defense found that North Korea was preparing for the test missile launch and said they maintained readiness for any possible battle. A South Korean military source said North Korea has deployed an unknown number of medium-range Musudan missiles near the eastern coastal region of Wonsan. Japanese military has been put on intercept alert for any North Korea’s missile on its territory.
North Korea test fired its first medium-range Musudan missile on April 15th, which was test launch. On April 28th, it fired another two Musudan missiles, which marked its third time of failure.
