(VOVworld) – Vice-president Nguyen Thi Doan and 400 businesswomen from 10 ASEAN countries attended a ceremony to honor 87 outstanding businesswomen on Saturday.

They were praised for their leading role in technology renovation and application and contributions to national socio-economic development. 7 Vietnamese businesswomen were honored on this occasion. Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen said: “Businesswomen have contributed significantly to socio-economic development and integration. They are role models of women in the 21^st century in a dynamic and developing ASEAN Community. I commend the achievements of businesswomen in ASEAN over the last 2 years.”
