At a press conference in Hanoi on Tuesday, the Organizing Committee including the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) and the People’s Committee of Da Nang city highlighted several new features of this year’s event.

Notably, the launch of the Asian Cinema Panorama program will spotlight outstanding and acclaimed Asian films that have made their mark at international film festivals over the past year, alongside premieres choosing DANAFF as their first screening platform.

This year also introduces the Asian Film Critics Award as part of the Asian Cinema Panorama program. In addition, the DANAFF Talents initiative will be held within the framework of the festival.
