(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Women’s Union held a meeting with Vietnamese chief representatives abroad for the 2015-2018 period in Hanoi on Tuesday. Union President Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa asked them to help promote the Union and the image of Vietnamese women abroad.
She said that this will open up new cooperation opportunities and mobilize resources for the Union’s activities and exchanges.
Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Minh Khoi said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will consult the Government in increasing the Union’s international cooperation and friendly exchanges and incorporating women-related issues with Vietnam’s diplomatic activities as well as promoting the image of Vietnamese women internationally through exhibitions, seminars, and conferences.
