(VOVWORLD) - Individuals and organizations of Overseas Vietnamese on Tuesday donated nearly 200,000 USD to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to help fight Covid-19.

At a ceremony in Ha Noi, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs also received 50,000 face masks that the Vietnam Fatherland Front donated to Overseas Vietnamese in the US who are facing difficulties due to the pandemic.
The Committee said Overseas Vietnamese have to date donated approximately 1.5 million USD and a large volume of medical supplies.
