Party Chief chairs Central Military Commission’s meeting

(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, chaired the 14th meeting of the Central Military Commission on Thursday. President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the event.

In his remarks, the Party chief hailed the Central Military Commission for its performance in the first half of the year. For the tasks of the second half of 2025, the Party chief urged the Commission to focus on successfully organizing the 12th Military Party Congress and preparing contents for the 14th National Party Congress.

He stressed the need to direct the reorganization of local military in alignment with the newly-restructured local administration, improve its forecasting capacity, and promptly advise the Party and State on policies and strategies to safeguard national interests.

He asked for stronger efforts to implement the “Digital Literacy for All” movement and promote administrative reforms and digital transformation in military administrative management.

He stressed the need to improve the quality of human resources, resolutely implement key military and defense projects, and expand trusted defense cooperation with other countries and partners, prioritizing neighboring and regional countries, major powers, strategic and comprehensive partners, and traditional friends.
