Party chief commemorates 50th anniversary of Phuoc Long Liberation Day

(VOVWORLD) - The Phuoc Long victory 50 years ago created an foundation for the Party, army, and people to reunify the country, steering Vietnam into an era of peace, independence, and freedom, said Party General Secretary To Lam at a ceremony to commemorate Phuoc Long Liberation Day (January 6) in Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc province, on Sunday.

Presenting the First-Class Labor Order to Phuoc Long, Party leader Lam said Vietnam will forever honor the heroic martyrs and citizens who fought and sacrificed for national liberation and reunification. He also expressed gratitude for the support and assistance of international friends.
Mr. Lam praised the contributions of Phuoc Long town and Binh Phuoc province to Vietnam’s development and urged even greater efforts to realize the region’s potential. "It is crucial to transition to a digital government, economy, and society while fostering the unique and diverse Binh Phuoc culture and nurturing self-reliant, disciplined, and creative people," he added.
