People-to-people diplomacy promoted for peaceful, stable environment
(VOVWORLD) - People-to-people diplomacy has contributed to maintaining a peaceful, stable environment, attracting resources to serve socio-economic development goals, and enhancing the nation’s role, prestige, and position, said Le Hoai Trung, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.

At Monday meeting to review the sector’s performance last year and set tasks for this year, Trung said external relations, including people-to-people diplomacy, must promote a peaceful, stable environment for development, enhance Vietnam's position in the international arena, and support a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification, and multilateralization.
