The Vietnamese delegation were greeted at the airport by Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, a large number of Chinese citizens, staff from the Vietnamese Embassy in China, members of the Vietnamese community, and Vietnamese students studying in China.

This is the first foreign trip by Mr. Lam in his new role. This significant diplomatic event is expected to have a profound impact on relations between the two Parties and countries.
