Vietnam’s exports in 2024 surpass 405 billion USD
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's import-export turnover for 2024 totaled 800 billion USD, 15.4% higher than in 2023, according to a new report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Exports exceeded 405 billion USD with exports to most of Vietnam’s major trade partners experiencing a strong recovery and achieving impressive growth.
At a press briefing on Tuesday, Mr. Nguyen The Huu, Deputy Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam, provided additional details about the proposal to adjust electricity prices.
"The Ministry of Industry and Trade has tasked the Electricity Regulatory Authority to draft a Decree on the mechanism for adjusting retail electricity prices and the timing of such adjustments. The Decree is one of the new regulations that will be issued simultaneously with the enforcement of the amended Electricity Law on February 1, 2025, which was recently passed by the National Assembly," said Mr. Huu.
