PM arrives in Warsaw for Poland visit

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in Warsaw on Wednesday evening, beginning an official visit to Poland until Saturday at the invitation of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

This is the first official visit to Poland by a Vietnamese PM in 15 years.

PM Chinh is scheduled to hold talks and meetings with Polish leaders, deliver a policy speech at the University of Warsaw, visit the National Research Institute, attend a Vietnam-Poland business forum, and receive Poland’s leading economic groups.

On this occasion, Vietnam and Poland will look into measures to enhance cooperation in various areas, including politics, security, economics, investment, and education. 

Mr. Chinh’s visit is expected to create a breakthrough and elevate bilateral ties, thereby strengthening relations between Vietnam and Central and Eastern Europe.
