He said digital transformation has come to every person and every family and the trust of people and businesses has been strengthened, thus inspiring new development.

Digital transformation plays an extremely important role in promoting socio-economic development and improving the quality of public services.

Conference participants were asked to discuss the implementation of policies on digital transformation, especially in building a digital government, developing a digital economy, deploying the population database project, and making e-identification and e-authentication a part of national digital transformation.

The Ministry of Information and Communications said that digital infrastructure, digital platforms, digital economy, and digital society in Vietnam are developing strongly.

Every commune, ward, and town has been connected to fiber optic Internet. International organizations have praised Vietnam's digital transformation outcomes, and Vietnam’s e-Government development index ranked 86th of 193 countries and territories in 2022.

Since 2018, the innovation index has been in the top 50 and last year was 46th of 132. Last year's postal index reached 47th of 172 countries and territories.
