(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of commendation to the Vietnam national football team after their 3-2 victory over Thailand in Bangkok on Sunday, securing their third ASEAN Championship title.

Mr. Chinh sent his best wishes to player Nguyen Xuan Son, who was injured during the match, hoping for his quick recovery and return to the field to continue contributing to Vietnamese football.
