PM departs for Poland, Czech Republic visits, WEF meeting

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation departed Hanoi on Wednesday for official visits to Poland and the Czech Republic, attendance at the 55th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos and bilateral meetings in Switzerland.

The week-long trip is made at the invitations of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.

It aims to deepen Vietnam's relations with important partners, further enhance Vietnam's position and role internationally, introduce Vietnam’s determination and aspiration for development, and maximize international resources for national development.
