PM encourages entrepreneurship at Techfest’s opening
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the business community, investors, and people to actively participate in practical and creative start-up activities, so as to help Vietnam soon catch up with other countries in the region and the world.

Mr. Chinh addressed the opening ceremony of the National Innovation Startup Festival (Techfest 2024) themed "Joining hands to develop the startup ecosystem" on Wednesday in Hai Phong city.
"The startup and innovation community, especially the young generation, continue to promote their willpower and intelligence of Vietnamese people, dare to face difficulties, not afraid of failure, with strong motivation, enthusiasm, belief and burning passion create "unicorns" of regional and world stature. We will do and achieve even greater achievements in entrepreneurship, driving the country firmly into the era of national rise, wealth and prosperity under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam," he said.

At the event, the Prime Minister pointed out that startups require the cooperation and consensus of the entire political system, community, people, and businesses. He emphasized that entrepreneurship and innovation are an important driving force and resource in sustainable development. Starting a business requires passion, determination, perseverance and courage to overcome obstacles and challenges to achieve success, PM Chinh added.
