PM offers incense to commemorate Party and Government leaders
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Monday evening offered incense to commemorate Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who died on July 19, 2024 aged 80, at the late leader's private residence in Hanoi. The visit was on the traditional Lunar New Year 2025 and anticipating the founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3).

Prime Minister Chinh expressed his deep respect, gratitude and honor for the great contributions by General Secretary Trong, an exceptionally outstanding leader, a shining example of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and a loyal communist party member.
He vowed to continue to strive with the entire Party and people, promote the strength of national unity, and join the country in entering a new era, the era of strong, civilized, prosperous development, where people are increasingly well-off and happy. The Prime Minister inquired about the health of widow Ngo Thi Man and wished her and her family a new year of good health, peace, and prosperity.

Also Monday evening, Prime Minister Chinh offered incense to the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, who was born on March 1, 1906, and died on April 29, 2000 and wished the late Prime Minister's family in Hanoi a Happy New Year.
Prime Minister Chinh expressed his deep respect for the late Prime Minister, a staunch proletarian revolutionary soldier and one of the key leaders and predecessors of the Vietnamese revolution, who made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense.
