PM pays Tet visit to Mekong Delta provinces
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged Tra Vinh provincial authorities to ensure policy beneficiaries’ living standards be equal to or higher than the average in the province.

Mr. Phuc on Tuesday visited policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged people in the Mekong Delta province ahead of Tet, the traditional Lunar New Year Festival. He reaffirmed the Government’s support for workers:
“Authorities at all levels should pay greater attention to workers in need. But workers themselves should raise their own living conditions by improving their skills and technological knowledge,” Mr. Phuc said.
The same day, the Prime Minister visited the Tra Vinh Buddhist Sangha and attended Tet celebrations for the poor and Agent Orange victims in Vinh Long province. He presented 100 houses to the poor in Vinh Long.
