The Saudi Minister said that he will work with agencies of both countries to promote economic cooperation on a par with bilateral political and diplomatic relations, especially in the fields of automobiles, high technology, food processing, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, minerals, and Halal products.
He said he hopes that Vietnam will attend the Future Mining Forum hosted by Saudi Arabia in 2025.
Saudi Arabia is Vietnam's leading trading partner in the Middle East with bilateral trade turnover in 2023 at 2.7 billion USD, of which Vietnam’s exports valued at 1.1 billion USD.
