PM’s Lao visit to create new momentum for special bilateral relationship
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will visit Laos and co-chair the 47th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee on Thursday and Friday.

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam, this is the first overseas visit by a key Vietnamese leader and the first visit by a foreign leader to Laos in 2025.
The visit reaffirms Vietnam's consistent policy of prioritizing cooperation with Laos and aims to deepen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
During the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee meeting, both sides will review their 2024 cooperation achievements and outline plans for 2025, focusing on economic, trade, and investment ties.
