Poland approves deployment of NATO forces on its territory
(VOVWORLD) - Poland’s National Security Bureau announced Sunday that President Karol Nawrocki has approved the deployment of NATO forces in Poland as part of the alliance’s military operation known as Eastern Sentry. Details were not disclosed.

On Friday, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that the alliance had launched Eastern Sentry to reinforce NATO’s eastern flank following multiple incursions into Polish airspace by drones.
The next day, the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces confirmed that NATO had initiated the Eastern Sentry operation on Polish territory.
