Preparations for year-end National Assembly session basically completed
(VOVWORLD) - Preparations for the year-end session of National Assembly (NA) scheduled to open on Wednesday are almost complete, NA Secretary General Bui Van Cuong told a working session in Hanoi on Monday.

NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the upcoming NA meeting should be shorter but still ensure the quality of decisions to be made on national development in 2022 and subsequent years.
Adhering to COVID-19 prevention and control regulations is also a priority, Mr. Hue said.
The National Assembly will deliberate and approve two laws and five draft resolutions and give opinions on five bills.
Legislators will comment on reports on evaluation of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget estimate in 2021, the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic; decide on the socio-economic development plan in 2022, the state budget estimate and the central budget allocation plan in 2022.
