President Luong Cuong receives new foreign ambassadors to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - President Luong Cuong received in Hanoi on Thursday the Ambassadors of Australia, the Dominican Republic, Algeria, and Angola as they presented their credentials and officially began their diplomatic missions in Vietnam.

Meeting Australian Ambassador Gillian Bird, President Luong Cuong expressed his hope that the Ambassador will make significant contributions to the advancement of bilateral relations. On this occasion, the President extended an invitation to the Governor-General of Australia to visit Vietnam.

Welcoming Ambassador Reinaldo Rafael Espinal Nunez of the Dominican Republic, President Luong Cuong affirmed Vietnam’s desire to strengthen the traditional friendship, deepen political trust, and enhance the effectiveness of cooperation to match the potential and mutual interests of both countries.

Extending congratulations to Mr. Azeddine Bechka on his appointment as Algerian Ambassador, President Luong Cuong emphasized that Vietnam highly values its longstanding relationship and cooperative ties with Algeria, urging both countries to continue expanding cooperation and supporting each other for shared development.

In his meeting with Ambassador of Angola Fernando Miguel, President Luong Cuong stated that Vietnam is ready to deepen collaboration with Angola across agriculture, fisheries, the processing industry, telecommunications, digital transformation, education, training, and healthcare, through both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
