(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived in Vientiane on Monday morning, beginning a two-day official friendship visit to Laos.

President Phuc is scheduled to hold talks with Lao Party leader and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and meet the Lao Prime Minister and National Assembly Chairman.
He will deliver a speech at the Lao National Assembly and attend a ceremony to hand over the NA House, a gift of Vietnam to Laos.
During a visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Vientiane, he will meet Vietnamese people and businesses in the country.
