(VOVworld) – On Saturday, President Truong Tan Sang offered people in Ha Tinh Province his best wishes for lunar New Year during his visit to the province. Sang said he hoped the local administration and residents would achieve better results in production development and improved living standards. Meeting with the authorities and people of Duc Tho District and Duc Hoa Commune, President Sang said he was delighted to see the development in all fields in the district and commune during the past year. Although facing difficulties, like many other provinces, Ha Tinh achieved the country's highest economic growth. Key projects were launched and the construction of new-style rural areas were stamped with creativeness. He called on Duc Tho District administration to pay attention to business activities, poverty reduction and to building an economic route to utilize all the district's advantages to maintain sustainable socio-economic development.
