President outlines tasks for National Defense Academy
(VOVWORLD) - President Luong Cuong has called on the National Defence Academy to enhance its defense diplomacy activities; and make international cooperation more expansive, more diverse, and more closely integrated.

Attending the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year at the Academy on Monday, President Cuong said the institution needs to combine knowledge sharing with promoting Vietnam, its people, and its policy of peace, self-defense, and justice; and affirm the country’s resilience, intelligence, and reputation on the international stage.
Every cadre, Party member, lecturer, and scientist at the Academy must set an example of political steadfastness, moral integrity, intellect, and practical capability, pioneering in thought, creative in action, steadfast in safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation, and inspiring cadets through their own character, knowledge, and sense of responsibility.
