(VOVWORLD) -Cambodian King Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneat Norodom Sihamoni will pay a state visit to Vietnam on Thursday and Friday at the invitation of Vietnamese President Luong Cuong.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang said that during his visit, King Norodom Sihamoni will have talks and meeting with all of Vietnam's highest-ranking leaders.
“King Norodom Sihamoni wants to send to the leaders and people of Vietnam the warm feelings of friendship, cohesion, and closeness between the leaders of Cambodia and the leaders and people of Vietnam. This will contribute to consolidating bilateral political trust and cooperation in all fields, including economics, culture, and education.”
Ambassador Tang highlighted recent remarkable achievements in Vietnam-Cambodia relations which he said will have good opportunities to develop in emerging fields like hi-tech, green technology, clean technology, digital technology and digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI).
