President works with key leaders of Binh Duong province on COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday visited and worked in Binh Duong province on COVID-19 prevention and control as part of his work program in the southern region.

At the meeting, President Phuc noted that as Binh Duong is a densely populated province, where many businesses and factories are located, and a trading gateway of the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City, the fight against COVID-19 has encountered many difficulties. That requires the province to take effective measures, first and foremost to protect people's health, limit the rate of infection and the number of deaths, he said.
The President requested that during social distancing, Binh Duong must not let people go hungry or sick and mobilize the highest resources from the state, localities and benefactors to help disadvantaged areas.

Earlier Friday morning, President Phuc paid a working visit to Binh Duong’s Thuan An city and visited Thuan Hoa COVID-19 patient treatment area and medical staff there.
