(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday in Hanoi worked with key leaders from Hai Duong province on local socio-economic development. Dung said the province’s recent achievements are foundations for Hai Duong to develop further. He urged aggressive measures to restructure the local economy, and improve the productivity, quality and competitiveness of goods and services. The Prime Minister asked Hai Duong to combine agriculture with the processing industry, apply science and technology, boost investment and expand the markets for agricultural produce. Dung also called for a focus on socio-economic infrastructure, vocational training, job generation, social welfare and poverty reduction.
