Prime Minister urges VTV to enhance professionalism, promote its brand
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday attended a conference reviewing the Vietnam Television's 2025 performance and outlining tasks for this year, calling on the station to further strengthen unity, promote innovation, enhance professionalism, and make comprehensive breakthroughs to meet new development requirements.

The Prime Minister commended VTV for basically fulfilling all eight assigned tasks in 2025 including successfully organizing numerous live television programs, major concert and music events, and cultural and artistic performances.
For 2026, the Prime Minister called on VTV to effectively implement the guiding principle of “Unity and solidarity – Overcoming challenges – Innovation and creativity – Professionalism and efficiency – Comprehensive breakthroughs – Gaining public trust – Earning international respect – Elevating the brand.”

He urged VTV to further strengthen its brand building: “To build a strong brand, operations must be fast, timely, and digitally driven. I propose clearly defining VTV’s core and long-term political mission as the country’s leading media organization, enhancing the quality and effectiveness of information and communications, and providing strong ideological guidance. On that basis, VTV should develop into a broadcaster with a brand of regional stature,” the Prime Minister said.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded the Labor Order, First Class to Vietnam Television in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.
