(VOVworld) -  The National Assembly’s Law Committee met in Hanoi on Sunday to discuss a project on procedures and methods of confidence votes for officials elected or approved by the National Assembly or People’s Councils. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said that the project is necessary to implement a Party Central Committee’s resolution on urgent issues on party building. He added it will also advice the National Assembly and the People’s Councils to overcome shortcomings in confidence vote process and enable the legislative body to supervise more closely officials that it has elected and approved.
