(VOVworld) – Senior Lieutenant General Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security, joined the national unity festival on Sunday in Nam Thang Long residential area, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.

During the festival, local residents recalled achievements that the Vietnam Unified National Front, or present day the Vietnam Father Land Front, has gained during its 82-year history. They also reviewed the outcomes of the campaign to build cultural life at residential area and the 2012 action program for the poor. Minister Quang called on local residents to be united and work towards sustainable communities.
