The province hopes someday to be one of Asia’s major tourism hubs, with a modern, high-quality, sustainable tourism sector.
Under the plan, Quang Ninh will be a venue for music and film events, international festivals, and cultural exchanges. It will also host conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions, and be a top destination in the region for resort getaways, honeymoons, wellness tourism, and spiritual experiences.
To realize its goal, the province has been improving its transportation and logistics infrastructure, setting up tourism information centers, and developing a high-quality service ecosystem.
