(VOVWORLD) - Quang Ninh province is expected to receive a group of about 4,500 Indian tourists, from August 29 to September 3, the largest ever.

The group includes staff from Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a major Indian pharmaceutical enterprise, who have been the most numerous and highest-spending visitors to Quang Ninh.
The arrival is expected to further promote Ha Long of Quang Ninh as a friendly and attractive tourist destination, laying the groundwork for attracting large groups of high-spending visitors to Vietnam.
India is one of Quang Ninh’s top 10 international tourist markets. Indian billionaires have previously visited the province for sightseeing and organizing wedding receptions.
The provincial Department of Tourism is working with travel agencies on reception plans, arranging transportation, and ensuring service quality for the visitors.
