(VOVworld) – 50 journalists from Radio the Voice of Vietnam and Radio  (VOV) and TV stations in central region have discussed communications to deal with climate change. The seminar opened on Saturday in Quy Nhon city and is organized by VOV. Participants also heard reports on local provinces’ plans on natural disaster response. Nguyen Quoc Hai works at Hoi An radio station of Quang Nam province said: “We don’t know how to communicate about climate change. The seminar is very useful for journalists as it helps improve our professional skills and approaches of reporting climate change. We also learn about local stations contingency measures to respond to natural disasters.”
