(VOVworld) – A reformed theater performance called “Breaking dawn" featuring the revolutionary career of communist soldier Phan Dang Luu, was staged at the Vietnam Reformed Theater in Hanoi on Thursday.

Scripted by Associate Professor Nguyen The Ky and directed by Meritorious artist Trieu Trung Kien, the performance revived the bright example of Phan Dang Luu and the great sacrifice of countless numbers of officials and party members during a difficult period of Vietnam’s revolution from 1923 to 1940.

Playwright Nguyen The Ky said: “Communists kept fighting for national liberation even during the most difficult period of Vietnam’s revolution. Phan Dang Luu used the media, culture, and arts as weapons. Although he was a senior party official he was always ready to receive the most dangerous mission.”
