(VOVworld)- The National Assembly’s Standing Committee held a conference on reforming responses to people’s aspiration in Nghe An province this week. Delegates to the conference discussed a new model of a National Assembly’s agency in charge of responding to people’s aspirations. They stressed the need to reform meetings with voters before and after National Assembly’s meetings. Pham Duc Chau is a deputy from Quang Tri province: “It is an art to meet with voters so the deputies need to acquire reporting skills, practical experiences, laws and policies. These will help them respond to voters’ queries more promptly and reasonably”.

The delegates proposed developing an information portal on responses to people’s aspirations from the central to grassroots level and setting a National Assembly’s Committee for Human Rights and Citizen Rights by upgrading the existing Committee for People’s Aspirations of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee.
