Rice cakes made for the poor to celebrate Tet

(VOVWORLD) -A program called "Wrapping green sticky rice cakes (banh chung) for the poor to celebrate Lunar New Year festival (Tet)" will take place from January 21-24 at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village on the outskirts of Hanoi.

This is an annual program organized by the Village’s Management Board to help disadvantaged people to welcome the Tiger New Year 2022, which will fall on January 31.

This year, the Organizing Committee will give 700 gifts to policy families in Moc Chau district, Son La province, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Ba Trai commune, Ba Vi district of Hanoi and ethnic people living at the Village.
