(VOVWORLD) - Russian ambassador to Washington Sergei Kislyak and Undersecretary of State Thomas Shannon on Monday discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Russian President and the US President on the sidelines of the G20 summit, which will take place in Germany later this week.
The meeting between Kislyak and Shannon continued a recent discussion between the Russian Foreign Minister and the US Secretary of State. The two foreign ministers discussed their presidents’ meeting in Germany, efforts to promote bilateral ties, and the organization of a deputy-foreign ministerial dialogue.
