(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s renewal (Doi Moi) process and Myanmar’s seven-step roadmap to democracy have been accelerated and have made significant progress, creating a boost for bilateral ties and the assurance of regional peace and cooperation. At a seminar discussing bilateral ties held in Hanoi on Monday, participants suggested that the two countries step up their cooperation with specific strategies to cope with the pressures caused by globalization and geopolitical competition without losing their national identity and sovereignty.
