President Truong Tan Sang received a delegation of Caodaism dignitaries in Hanoi on Wednesday. Tran Duc Dang, Head Monk of the Vietnam Caodaism Society, expressed gratitude to the Government for creating favorable conditions for Caodaists to practice their religion. The Caodaism Society currently has 3 million followers, 15,000 dignitaries and more than 1000 places of worship. The Caodaist community has responded actively to many social programs, contributing 750,000 USD to charitable activities annually. President Sang urged Caodaists to broaden their relationships, be united, and get involved more in social activities.
