Thousands participated in the 1.5 km parade and mass dance, according to the organizing committee. Professional dancers invited spectators along the road to join in.
Together, participants performed a dance infused with a distinct African culture and full of unity and integration vibes.
Mjaivo Jaiva is Johannesburg's signature annual celebration, aiming to develop cultural life, build people’s pride, and set a record for the largest number of dancers participating on a pedestrian street.
