A local official said the two suicide bombers activated an explosive package hidden inside their jackets in a market in central Bodo, while two other assailants attacked people at the gates. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Nigeria’s Islamic extremist group Boko Haram is suspected of being behind the attacks.

Boko Haram has sworn loyalty to the IS and is seeking to create an Islamic state with very harsh laws in northern Nigeria.
