(VOVWORLD) - The Taliban must not let Afghanistan become a breeding ground for terrorism again, NATO foreign ministers said at an emergency online meeting on Friday to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

For the last 20 years, NATO has successfully denied terrorists a safe haven in Afghanistan from which to instigate attacks, the alliance's foreign ministers said in a statement, adding that they will not allow any terrorists to threaten people and remain committed to fighting terrorism with determination, resolve, and in solidarity.
