(VOVWORLD) - The Afghan government will include women in the future, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.

According to the Sputniknews, spokesman Mujahid said in his televised speech on Wednesday that the current government is interim and the Taliban will have posts for women with respect for Sharia law.
The same day, residents of Kabul took to the street to protest in the Dashte Barchi area in the western part of Kabul, demanding to ensure the participation of women in governing the country.
