Team Vietnam win second match at ASEAN Cup
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese national men's football team on Sunday evening beat Indonesia 1-0 in their second match of Group B of the Southeast Asian Football Championship ASEAN Cup 2024.

Vietnam’s only goal was scored by midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai in the 78th minute in Viet Tri stadium, Phu Tho province.
Vietnam won 4-1 over Laos in their opening match on December 9. Team Vietnam has now risen to the top of Group B with 6 points after two matches.
Indonesia ranks second with 4 points after three matches. The latest win has ended Vietnam’s losing streak of three consecutive defeats against Indonesia this year.
