Vietnamese Organizations Union in Russia established

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese Organizations Union in Russia was inaugurated at its first Congress held Saturday at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow.

The Union is developed from the Vietnamese Association in Russia, which now represents a community of nearly 100,000 Vietnamese in Russia.

Businessman Do Xuan Hoang was elected by the Congress as Chairman of the Union for the term 2024-2029.

The event also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Association in Russia, towards the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia and major holidays of the two countries in 2025.
