(VOVworld)-The government will issue a new resolution on a supportive package worth 30 trillion dong to help enterprises overcome difficulties.

Speaking at the government monthly meeting press conference in Hanoi on Friday, Minister and Head of the Government Office Vu Duc Dam said a report by the Ministry of Planning and Investment on businesses to be dissolved or suspended will be posted on the government web portal.

Deputy Minister of Finance Vu Thi Mai said that a separate government resolution on business support will be issued this month: “The supportive package will focus on tax reduction. Small and medium sized enterprises will benefit from a 30% reduction in corporate income tax. The eligible includes businesses in garment and textile, footwear, seafood and agriculture industries. 50% of tax rent will be cut for all businesses.”

Deputy State Bank Governor Nguyen Dong Tien talks about the central bank’s flexible interest rate management:“The State Bank’s administrative solution on maximum mobilization rate and upcoming ceiling lending rate aims to lower the borrowing cost and ease the burden on business borrowers. The short-term lending rate in the priority areas shall not exceed 15%. The priority areas include agriculture and farming, export oriented and supportive industries.”
