Top leader receives President of Boeing Global
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and State President To Lam hosted a reception in New York on Sunday for President of Boeing Global Brendan Nelson, during which the Vietnamese leader promised that Vietnam will continue to provide favorable conditions for US investors like Boeing to invest and operate effectively and sustainably in Vietnam.

He urged Boeing to continue collaborating with Vietnamese partners to fulfill standing aircraft orders and invest in component factories and a maintenance center in Vietnam. The leader also called for stronger cooperation in training, research, and technology transfer to help Vietnamese partners become more involved in Boeing's supply chain.
Mr. Nelson applauded Mr. Lam’s vision of the aviation industry's role in Vietnam's socio-economic development. He said Boeing wants to support Vietnam’s aviation ecosystem, focusing on infrastructure development, workforce training, airport construction, and aircraft repair and maintenance.
