Tourism Advisory Board makes debut
(VNA) - The Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) has made its debut in Hanoi.
The establishment of the board is part of an EU-funded project aiming to enhance the tourism sector’s capacity for environmentally and socially responsible development. According to Nguyen Van Tuan, General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the inauguration of the board, which has the participation of both the public and private sectors, is expected to create an important breakthrough in the professionalization of Vietnam’s tourism sector, in line with the national tourism development strategy until 2020, with a vision to 2030. He added it will also enhance Vietnam’s competitiveness and make the country an attractive global destination.
